The Norwich and District Magic Circle hosted a series of Christmas magic shows called "Sim-Sala-Bim." There were
2 shows each day; a Matinee Performance at 2.30pm and an Evening show at 7.30pm.

Tuesday 4th February 2003
This month, the society held its Annual General Meeting, where everyone got the opportunity to discuss the
progression of the society. There was also a delicious finger buffet with wine.
Trevor Duffy from South Africa presented an excellent lecture on close-up magic with a dealer
demonstration.
Tuesday 4th March 2003
The "1st Close-up Magic Workshop" was held where members were invited to bring their close-up
magic videos and books to discuss the art of magic.
The society celebrated its 10th Anniversary by hosting a Banquet Dinner with International Star Cabaret!

Aquarius Magic presented their Dealer Demonstration. The evening was
well received and many purchases were made. We would like to thank Aquarius Magic for giving our members the opportunity to

The Summer Garden Party was a huge success, with plenty of members attending the

There was no meeting this month due to the annual summer recession.
Tuesday 2nd September
The "2nd Close-up Magic Workshop" was held by David Prior and Saxon
Moseley! The informal event was a chance for members to come together and share new ideas and effects in a structured but
relaxed atmosphere.
Danny Archer from the USA came to The NDMC, where he amazed us with a lecture on close-up
magic!
